Cosmological Constant

One finely tuned constant of nature is the cosmological constant. It is the ratio of the density of dark energy to the critical density of the universe. The critical density of the universe is related to its geometry, whether it is flat or curved. 


The cosmological constant is on the order of ten to the minus one-hundred twenty-two. If it was only slightly larger stars and other cosmological structures could not form . . .
