Datacubes

Developed from the DNA-based memory cubes of the middle 22nd century these holographic-based devices with built in computing first appeared at the end of the 25th century as a way to standardize memory storage. Each cube could contain up to an exabyte, or a million terabytes of storage. A form of spectroscopy is used for readout in most cases with multiple lasers being used for higher data rates.
